Philippine Normal University Visayas Student Government interviewed various Program-Based Organizations and Interest Clubs in the Accreditation and Re-accreditation process for the Academic Year 2024-2025, at the DOST Room, PNUV Campus on September 4, 2024.

The Panel Interview is one of the prerequisites for all PBOs and ICs in order for them to implement activities both within and outside the university. It aims to strengthen and examine the submitted documents and proposed plan of action of the said organizations and clubs.

It was initiated by the PNUV SG President, Hon. Leonel C. Baulita, Vice President for Internal Affairs, Hon. Jhan Carlo Sela, and Organization and Student Information Committee Chairperson, Hon. Fritz Jay N. Lorilla. The following PBOs started the morning session: Advocates for Early Childhood Education (AECE), English Major Society (EMS), Samahan ng mga Mag-aaral sa Wika at Panitikan (SAMAWIPAN), Math Guild, A Team of Modern Scientists (ATOMS), Physical, Emotional, Mental, and Social Health Advocates (PEMS HeAd), Association of Social Science Major Students (ASSMS) while the afternoon session began with the new Interest Clubs namely: Alpha Phi Omega (APO), Hangaway, and Circle of Rovers.

The Accreditation and Re-accreditation Panel Interview closed with the Christian Bible Fellowship (CBF), College Red Cross Youth Council (CRCYC), Dalawidaw Chorale, Inter-Varsity Christian Fellowship-Educators Christian Fellowship (IVCF-ECF), PNUV Kabataang Urduja, Kabilin Eco-Club, Maalikaya Dance Guild (MDG), Makawiwili Dance Troupe (MDT), Peer Facilitators’ Organization (PFO), and Sumpakil Debate Society, which are the clubs that will be re-accredited.

The PNUV SG, together with PBOs and ICs work hand in hand towards the student body’s prosperity and successful academic endeavors through this initiative, as well as to further extend their service in the PNUV community.
